Easy and Secure Data Transfer in MindSphere Clouds

Haar, October 8, 2018 - At the SPS IPC Drives 2018, Softing Industrial will be presenting the new MindSphere Connector component of dataFEED OPC Suite. This enhancement of functionality allows the direct transfer of automation data for collection, analysis and further processing in MindSphere clouds.

MindSphere Connector provides data from existing and new automation applications in Siemens MindSphere clouds. This not only allows to include all Siemens controllers, from SIMATIC S5 to the most modern SIMATIC S7, but also a wide range of other controllers, e.g. from Rockwell, Schneider Electric or B & R, into the overall solution.

"The provision and processing of production data is a major challenge for implementing Industrie 4.0," says Andreas Roeck, Data Integration Product Manager at Softing Industrial. "The crucial question for plant engineers and operators as well as for IT administrators is the question of the secure and cost-effective storage and analysis of large amounts of data. Here we can offer an interesting option with our new MindSphere cloud support solution."

Softing’s dataFEED OPC Suite is a comprehensive complete package that covers communication via the OPC standard as well as the implementation of big data solutions and integration in IoT clouds. A modern user interface with intelligent, practice-oriented presettings and an intuitive user interface enables easy and fast configuration of the data exchange. The modular design offers the greatest possible flexibility to the user since he only has to license the required functionality.

dataFEED OPC Suite with the new MindSphere Connector component will be presented at the SPS IPC Drives exhibition at the Softing booth in hall 5, booth 260.
