Another Ware has been in business since 1991 and currently has over 80 employees. Another Ware´s range of business include IT related consulting services with focus on Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, IoT product development, development of specialized software under contract, as well as operation and maintenance of some of these deliveries. One of Another Ware divisions specializes in embedded software development. Since the introduction into the Japanese market of Softing’s OPC UA toolkits, both C++ and embedded ANSI C toolkits, many customers approached Softing for a fully ported solution for µITRON. The µITRON specification is widely used in the Japanese market, and there are different vendors of µITRON solutions, which use different toolchains that need to be adapted to different hardware architectures. Another Ware and Softing started collaborating in 2016 and have achieved the goal of supplying off-the-shelf µITRON OPCUA toolkits for selected environments, and bespoke development for special cases. Another Ware also has been providing development services of custom OPC UA client and server applications using Softing’s standard and Windows OPC UA and OPC Classic toolkits, while also providing training services to their customers, who are licensees of Softing OPC toolkits.
